Jeffery Alan Jones has enjoyed a prolific and varied career as a composer, pianist, producer, sound designer, and conductor. He has composed a variety of music for both stage and screen including orchestral arrangements for The Hollywood Symphony, The Hollywood Pops Orchestra, and The Chicago Pops Orchestra. He also arranged all of the music for "A Tribute to MGM Musicals," performed by The Culver City Civic Light Opera. Mr. Jones composed original music for "The Jade Pirate," an original Wushu show featuring "The Beijing Wushu Team." Most recently, he has worked with Diana Ross in composing and arranging music for her 2010 concert tour.

        As a prolific film composer, Mr. Jones has scored original music for over 100 films including "King of Fighters," "The Gold Retrievers," "Inside," "The Shark Tank Redemption," "Net Games," "Neverland," and "Dog Tags," as well as music for several television commercials including Nike, Samsonite, Discovery, and Microsoft. His extensive background in music composition infuses his stunning sound designs and 5.1 surround sound mixing capabilities, which can be heard in video games such as, "Apache," "Ghostbusters," "Spyro," John Woo's, "Stranglehold," "Lost Planet," "Turok," "Prototype," "Fear," "Mortal Kombat," "Tony Hawk," and many others. In addition, Mr. Jones has produced many albums with original music including "Love's Never Been So Nice," Take Me to Your Love," and the international success "Peace Poem." A recent winner of the Los Angeles Composer Competition, Mr. Jones was commissioned to conduct his orchestral composition "Cinema Fantastic" with the National Chinese Symphony Orchestra in Beijing, China. Mr. Jones also was a winner of the John Lennon Songwriting award with his song "My Dream."

        Mr. Jones has performed internationally including France, Germany, Austria, Poland, Sweden, England, China, and South America. He has toured Taiwan performing concerts including Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, and Titanic. He has conducted various music ensembles including The Royal Pacific Symphony, The Hollywood Pops Orchestra, The Long Beach Chamber Ensemble, and various film recording orchestras. Over the past three years, Mr. Jones has conducted The National Chinese Orchestra in several concerts featuring his original music as well music from Broadway shows and Hollywood movies. He also leads The Jeff Jones Trio and performs regularly with his jazz group, "The Jeff Jones Trio." His jazz group was named the "Best Jazz Group" in The People's Choice Awards of Long Beach in 2005.

        Mr. Jones is the owner and CEO of Alan Audio Works, Inc., which specializes in creating Music, Sound Design and Audio Post for film, television, and multimedia projects. His highly in demand recording studio operates at two studio branches, one in Hollywood and the other in Long Beach, CA. Mr. Jones has worked with many talented actors including Cameron Diaz, Kevin Spacey, Maggie Q, Billy Zane, Steve Guttenberg, Amanda Plummer and Ed Asner.

        Mr. Jones has taught music classes in Theory, Harmony, and Musicianship at California State University, Long Beach and at both Rancho Santiago College and Santa Ana College where he taught Composition and Piano Performance. Mr. Jones received his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Masters of Music in Composition with honors from the California State University, Long Beach and an artist diploma in Composition and Piano Performance from the Dick Grove School of Music. His studies have also included film composition at the University of California at Los Angeles. In addition, Mr. Jones has studied music privately with William Motzing, Brad Kiemach, Robert Drasnin, Edith Hirshtal, Julian Musafia, Robert Stevens, and Terry Trotter.
